North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) essential purpose is to safeguard the freedom and security of its members through political and military means. NATO promotes democratic values and encourages consultation and cooperation on defense and security issues to build trust and, in the long run, prevent conflict. In this particular committee, NATO will be held in futuristic settings, where international relations and politics have been changed drastically. Winston Churchill says: “Our future is in our hands. Our lives are what we choose to make them.” Therefore, it is carrying uttermost importance that the members of the organization to maintain their goals, to resolve the issues by revising from the past and preperceiving the future.


Our committee will commence from the year 2036 in which NATO has come to a pivotal point throughout the history which led the United States to question their role in NATO, battling the secession of its states through the economic crisis of 2030, to dissolution of Russian Federation. NATO and its members are worried that its been the worst decade of NATO ever in history. The members of NATO in this committee will be faced with the challenge to keep NATO alive and strong through 2030s and will try to answer the question of how to integrate new possible allies from dissolved Russian Federation.
